User-Driven IT Innovation (2006-)

UDI web site

User-Driven IT Innovation (UDI) is my research group at Roskilde University.

I was the initial research manager for this new research group when it was established during 2006 and 2007 as one out of seven new research groups within our Department of Communication, Business and Information Technologies. In 2007 UDI hosted 5 senior researchers and 8 Ph.D. students.

The focus of UDI is how organizations manage, design, implement, and use IT to support users’ needs and business strategies: How can the development and usage of IT be better managed; how can IT systems be configured to effectively support business processes; which kind of IT infrastructures and security measures are needed; how are conditions for successful IT adoption developed? Purpose: To achieve greater benefits of using IT and, thereby, more successful IT projects.
